On Wednesday, November 7, we visited Washington. We left at 5 o'clock in the morning, to avoid the traffic (we got stuck in it anyway), and got back at about 10 pm. A tourbus, on which we hopped on and off as we liked it, took us around. We were in the Washington Monument to have the view out of the tallest tower over the area. We also saw the Arlington Cemetery with the guards and their changement, very impressive! And we saw many important buildings like the White House, the Capitol and several memorials. It was very interesting to see and hear about Americas capital and we all had a nice day!
Am Mittwoch dem 7. November besuchten wir Washington. Wir waren von 5 Uhr morgens bis um 10 Uhr abends unterwegs. Ein Tourbus, zum ein und aussteigen nach belieben, führte uns zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir genossen den Überblick über die Stadt aus den Fenstern des Washington Monumet, dem höchsten Gebäude in Washington. Ausserdem sahen wir das Weisse Haus, das US Kapitol und verschiedene Denkmäler. Beeindruckend waren die Garde und deren Wechsel im Arlington Friedhof. Es war sehr interessant, Verschiedenes über amerikas Hauptstadt zu sehen und zu hoeren und wir hatten alle einen grossartigen Tag!
